Sen. Nwoko Assures Collective Progress, As Welders Association Present Award. BY DEX OKAFOR The Senator representing Delta North at the National Assembly Senator Ned Nwoko, has assured his constituents of his unwavering dedication to their collective progress. Senator Nwoko gave the assurance when he received on courtesy call members and executives of Delta North Welders/Fabrication Association led by its Chairman Comrade Festus Ogugua at his Senatorial office in Asaba, Delta State. The Senator who was represented by the Head of Ned Nwoko's Senatorial Office in Asaba, High Chief Ugo Asibelua, appreciated the association for its support saying the support of the association means a more brighter future for the socio economic development of Delta North and the state. According to him; "I want to thank you for coming here to show your support towards my developmental stride for Delta North and the state in general. “Together, we have achieved remarkable milestones, and together, with your support, we shall achieve even more.” Sen. Nwoko while receiving an award presented by the Association for his good works, quality and effective representation of Delta North at the National Assembly, thanked the association for recognizing his noble feat. The Senator reiterated his pledge to support and promise towards advocating and ensuring the developmental advancement and empowerment of Delta North in terms of infrastructural and human capital development as well as the welfare of women, men and youths across the senatorial district and beyond. Earlier, in his address, Chairman of Delta North Welders/Fabrication Association, Comrade Festus Ogugua noted that, the visit was to commend the senator for the good things he is doing for Delta North and to pledge the association's support to him in advancing the growth and progress of the district. Comrade Ogugua while presenting the association's award to Sen. Nwoko, said the award was a mark of appreciation, gratitude and support to the senator for the good things he is currently doing for Delta North people and Delta State. According to him; "we of the Delta North Welders/ Fabrication Association is here to say thank you for your good works. We have come to show our support by presenting this award to you, an award for the good things you are doing. This association is in love and in support of your respresentative and capacity style in advocating and addressing the needs of the people in Delta North Senatorial District and the Anioma nation.
