Igbuzo Leaders Should Monitor and Support the Youths

Igbuzo leaders must prioritize their youths' development and well-being. It's alarming that the community focuses more on nurturing the elderly, leaving the youths directionless. The current trend of substance abuse and belief in money rituals among youths is disturbing and threatens the community's future.

Substance abuse and the bariatric belief in the ritualistic use of one's wife, mothers, and other relatives to acquire wealth require orientation to discourage in the community.

To address this, Igbuzo leaders and other capable individuals should establish NGOs focused on youth affairs, providing guidance and support. This can include organizing youth conferences, seminars, and lectures to tackle the erosive values and behaviors.

Our people should stop avoiding youth organizations in the community. They should rather take interest in their affairs and support their cause.

There is the need to establish youth-focused NGOs and other organizations that cater to the needs and development of Igbuzo youths. From experience, I know a whole lot of Igbuzo personalities who will either flee or neglect the call to support youth activities in the community. Yet, they want the good of the community's future. How does this happen?

The community also needs to begin to host conferences, seminars, and lectures to address substance abuse, money rituals, and other negative trends.

Rather than the subtle avoidance of youth support programs, the stakeholders and elites should unite and support youth development initiatives for the future. Everyone's future directly or indirectly is in Igbuzo and the youths are the tomorrow.

Let Igbuzo leaders monitor and support Igbuzo youth. Provide guidance and resources to help the youths overcome challenges and help them to reach their full potential. Attention should shift to the youths.
