Igala Community Endorses Oborevwori For 2027
The Igala Community in Delta State has unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
The endorsement occurred during a meeting of all chairmen and officials of the Igala Community in Delta State, held at the transformer camp in Omelugboma, Oshilimi South Local Government Area, Delta State.
Speaking to Aniomaonline.com correspondent, the Ono of Igala Community, HRH, Yunusa Muhammed, commended the Oborevwori-led administration for his unrelenting effort in operating an all-inclusive government in Delta State, particularly for non-indigenes
"We are here for many reasons, one of which is to see my children and how they are faring, those in Okwe, Oko, and outside Asaba,"
"I have been in Delta State for over 21 years, even before the state was created. Truly, we have not had it in this manner. The present government of Delta State has been so favourable to us, but we still need more of its support."

In his remark, the President General of the Igala Community, Engr. Amodu Agebie, eulogized Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori for his outstanding leadership skills and unmatched performance since his assumption into office.
"We are here as the Igala community to pass a vote of confidence on our Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his outstanding performance since he assumed office.
"Politics is all about results. If you have a governor who produces significant results in all spheres, why go for another when the present one is doing well, in line with his MORE Agenda."
"As non-indigenes, this administration has been the best, because it has recognized non-indigenes in the State. Also, this administration has created a platform that all local governments have a non-indigene as a representative, giving us a sense of inclusiveness"
Additionally, to strengthen the bond between the Igala Community and the state government, Hon. Kizito Edebor was presented as the face of the Igala Community.
The aim is to have a mediator between the Igalas and the state government at all levels, ensuring that their challenges and needs get to the right authority.
