It was in 2017 when we first embarked on this editorial voyage, hovering on the peripheries of the new media in an attempt to implement an idea aimed at galvanizing the people of Anioma nation into action for the ultimate good of both the elites and the common man.
Anioma Online became necessary in the face of recent developments, on-going global competition and the need for cultural identity in a fast -changing world. To achieve relevance and remain so, Anioma people must embrace .and navigate through the maze of diverse challenges and sometimes, confusions resulting from current global changes and developments.
Anioma Online, from inception has been a commitment to fostering the cultural identity of our people inhabiting the northern part of Delta State of Nigeria, commonly addressed as the people of Delta Ibo, in a curious political expression.
Today, our mission remains the same: to correct all misconceptions and misperceptions relating to our collective identity, while promoting the ideals of responsible citizenship and leadership, equity and fairness, truth and accountability, and to lead in the effort for continuing advancement of our people and communities.
This we hope to accomplish by pushing the frontiers of knowledge and facts through up to date and incisive news coverage, leading intellectual conversations and cross fertilization of ideas that will inevitably enhance the national and global competitiveness, prosperity and general wellbeing of the good people of Delta North.
