Aboh an ancient kingdom in Ndokwa East Local Government Area , Delta State will soon begin to experience development in the strategic areas of education, health and industrial growth to curb unemployment among youths in the kingdom.
This commitment stem from a team of foreign investors from the United States of America (USA) currently on investment tour to Aboh Kingdom to explore investment opportunities with a view to setting up viable industries and advancing Health infrastructure as well as educational development of the people with 21st century facilities.
Dr. Pantsil Isaac, who led the delegation noted that, they came to Aboh on the invite of His Royal Majesty, Dr. Gregory Nnamdi Oputa III, the Obi of Aboh Kingdom to get first-hand information on the abundant investment opportunities in Aboh Kingdom.
According to him, their visit was geared towards keying into the vision of Obi Oputa III in his avowed commitment at restoring the kingdom's past glory as a foremost kingdom that interfaced with the European missionaries many centuries ago.
Dr. Isaac revealed that Obi Oputa III was known in the United States before his ascension to the throne as a man who had burning desire, penchant and vision to attract development to his people back home.
" I had known his Majesty for quite sometime now, a good man and somebody who has Aboh Kingdom very much at heart, somebody who is very much committed to see his people prosper and bring unprecedented development to the land".
"I have spoken to his Majesty in the past and there are three things I look forward to; good health for the people, good education and good industry that will make youths of the community meaningfully engaged."
Dr. Isaac assured to connect with some investors who are part of the community in order to share experience and brainstorm on how to bring Aboh Kingdom back to its glory.
Earlier, Obi Oputa III, while welcoming the team of investors, said his ultimate desire was initiate moves that is geared towards the socio-economic and infrastructural advancement and prosperity of the kingdom during his reign.
